Shipping Guarantee

Delta Air Cargo

We recommend Delta as a first choice of shipping due to the timeliness of freight cargo.  Airfreight shipments should be inspected at the time of pickup. Air freight must be picked up within three hours of arrival. Gateway City Reptiles, Inc. is not responsible for carrier delays or mistakes. Any claims should be filed with the carrier at the time of pickup. DOA's must be reported within 24 hours to Gateway City Reptiles, Inc. for possible credit/replacement. Return of DOA animals may be required prior to a decision.

DHL/FedEx/UPS

Live arrival is guaranteed unless temperatures at any stops enroute to the destination are below 40 degrees or above 90 degrees.  Gateway City Reptiles, Inc. is not responsible for carrier delays or mistakes. Any claims should be filed with the carrier at the time of pickup.  The package MUST be signed for on the first delivery attempt or live arrival guarantee is voided, NO EXCEPTIONS. DOA's must be reported within 24 hours to Gateway City Reptiles, Inc. for possible credit/replacement. Return of DOA animals may be required prior to a decision.

Our Animal Policy

We guarantee our animals to be properly sexed and outwardly healthy upon arrival based upon the above shipping requirements..  We ask all our customers to sex the animal within 48 Hours and confirm that they are 100% satisfied with their animal.  We cannot control nor can we be responsible for environmental conditions that may affect the eating habits or health of your animal beyond the 48 hour period.  Unfortunately we cannot verify how our customers maintain their collections and therefore have to set some limits.  We do clearly document, discuss and notify you prior to shipping,  what your reptile is eating, what type of food it is eating  and how often it ate in our possession. 

Deposits

We accept payment plans with the following stipulations in place prior to making the deal. 

a. 25% NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.  We only refund the deposit if the animal dies prior to shipping to you, if you quit paying, we keep the deposit. PERIOD.

b. Payment plan must be emailed in advance, i.e. how you plan to pay and how often with details.
